Mark Twain Transmission Project

Process

In developing the Mark Twain Transmission Project, input from landowners, communities and other stakeholders will be gathered to further design and construct the line - approval from Adair, Knox, Lewis, Marion and Schuyler counties is needed to proceed with the proposed new route. The option to use the original route files by ATXI in 2015 remains open until the new proposed route receives all approvals.

ATXI will coordinate with Northeast Power and Ameren Missouri to host public open houses in mid-June for landowners who live along the new proposed route. The purpose of these open houses is to answer questions and gather additional feedback from landowners that will help us design and build the line. We remain committed to working with property owners and communities to address their concerns and to minimize impacts.

If your property is located on the proposed new route, you will be contacted by a member of Contract Land Staff. This group has been hired by ATXI to assist landowners with real estate matters.

If you have questions about the proposed new route process, please contact us via the toll-free number or email address provided on the right. We welcome your input.
