Bagnell Dam holds back water from the Osage River to create the Lake of the Ozarks. This stored water serves as “fuel” for the Osage Energy Center, located inside the dam.
Like a giant battery, Taum Sauk Energy Center stores the natural power of 1.5 billion gallons of water to safely and reliably generate electricity when it's needed most.
