If you decide that you do not want a smart electric meter or gas module, you have the option to enroll in our Non-Standard Metering (NSM) service. NSM service requires Ameren Missouri to visit your property monthly to collect energy usage information. There is a non-refundable $100 setup charge to install a non-standard meter, and a $40 monthly charge to help cover the cost of monthly manual meter reads.
