Since 1913, our Keokuk Renewable Energy Center has harnessed the power of the Mississippi River to generate clean, low cost and reliable energy for nearly 75,000 homes per year.

Bagnell Dam holds back water from the Osage River to create the Lake of the Ozarks. This stored water serves as “fuel” for the Osage Energy Center, located inside the dam.
